Get to Know Me! :D
"Yesterday is HISTORY, tomorrow is a MYSTERY, but today is a GIFT... that is why it is called the PRESENT"
My name is Riley! I am 15 years old, and live in western Wisconsin with my mom (Angela), and four siblings:
Caeden (12), Elliana (9), Kareese (8), and Isaac (4). I also live part-time with my dad (Adam), step-mom (Tessa) and
unborn-baby-sibling in eastern MN. At my dad's house, I have two dogs: Willie (a dachshund) and Rudy (a Golden Retriever).
At my mom's house, I have a Gecko named Spaz, and we share a family goldfish named Finn.
My birthday is January 3rd, and I can NOT wait to be 16! I am super excited to get my license, and hope I pass my
drivers test!
The reason I chose to read Jaycee Dugard: A Stolen Life is because my friend read it, and told me that it is a very good book. I
hadn't really realized how good I have everything, until I read Jaycee's story. It really opened my eyes to all of the things I have, and changed my perspective
on how I act, and how I think. We don't realize how good we have it, and how fortunate we are until it has been taken away from us. Jaycee Lee Dugard has
inspired me in many ways. She has taught me that LIFE GOES ON, despite our past- and we should love and appreciate every day, as if it was our last.
